By Pamela Mullin

There will be no post today, as the DC offices are closed and I’m heading to Saratoga for the races! Be back on Monday.

While you’re waiting, here’s a photo I took of a few Fables fans at the San Diego Comic Convention.

What a beautiful place to have a convention

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

By Pamela Mullin

This is my fourth year at the San Diego Comic Con—my second with DC COMICS—and every year I feel it gets bigger and better. There’s excitement in the air—free swag to be had, announcements galore, amazing artists and writers to meet, the occasional celebrity sighting and, of course, the fans . . . and the costumes.

If you’re here, stop by the DC COMICS booth . . . and don’t forget to say ‘hi.’

And keep coming back to Graphic Content for info and updates throughout the week, and yes, for the first time we’ll be posting over the weekend as well!

What does SDCC mean to you?

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

By Pamela Mullin

Here’s what a few Vertigo editor’s have to say:

Shelly Bond: San Diego = must … have … oxygen

Will Dennis: TWO WORDS: TRENCH WARFARE.

Pornsak Pichetshote: Spring break! (Some peace in the office…)

Angela Rufino: The serenity in the offices increases as the noise level dips to a dull throb with everyone on the other side of the country.

Joan Hilty: Day 1: I can CRAWL faster than this pedicab. Day 4: ….

Mark Doyle: Holding down the fort.

I’m flying out today and look forward to seeing many of you in San Diego. Though I’ll be in a different time zone, I will continue to post all week, so please keep reading Graphic Content.
