People (well, especially people non artistically inclined like myself), are often curious as to how the artist got from a blank sheet of paper to the finished product. Well, GRAPHIC CONTENT is happy to bring you behind-the-scenes of Brian Bolland’s cover to JACK OF FABLES #39.

What started as a pencil sketch, gets inked, added to, more detailed and brought to life with color. Simple, right?

Well, he can’t stay away from JACK OF FABLES forever can he? #36, “Jack ‘n’ Apes” features an untold tale of Jack’s past drawn by artist Tony Akins and written by guest-scripter and novelist Chris Roberson (who is also writing this Fall’s highly anticipated mini-series CINDERELLA: From Fabletown With Love—about a woman with a secret identity who loves shoes as much as I do) with cover by Brian Bolland. War…again? This time it’s within the confines of THE GREAT FABLES CROSSOVER as Mister Revise and the rest of the Heroes gather high power weapons and take on The Genres a.k.a The Villains in JACK OF FABLES #35.
